Paper Adventures Team Hop

Paper Adventures - Blog Hop Header

Hi and thanks for joining me on the Paper Adventures Team Hop, cannot believe it has been a month since we were last here, where has the time gone!

This is a great hop as we are heading into Christmas and are trying to organise presents for families and friends. This time I have chosen to do some gifts already wrapped for my co-workers. We are having lunch on Sunday and having an early Christmas celebration before the ‘silly season’ ramps up.

I got the idea off Pinterest, of course, where else do you go for inspiration! I followed Candy Ford from Stamp Candy instructions and decorated using new and retired Stampin Up! items.

For the base and lid, I used Real Red and Garden Green cardstock and decorated the lids using retired DSP called Quilted Christmas and stamped the bow from the stamp set, Gift Wrapped, which comes with a matching punch, I do love a matching punch and this was perfect. I used Stampin Blends to colour in some of the ribbon to match the boxes.

Inside the box, I used an insert, I used the ‘H’ from the retired Large Alphabet dies, oh why, Stampin Up did you discontinue these! Gold foil was used to match the chocolates and the circle from the ‘O’ that was cut out was just perfect for an embellishment under the bow on the top, I never throw away anything like that I have a container full of bits and pieces that might come in handy….one day

Inside has 3 Ferrero Rocher chocolates which form the ‘O’ for the HO HO HO, how clever is that! I am super stoked how easy they were to put together and they look amazing.

Hope this has given you some ideas that don’t have to be expensive but look like you have spent a lot….

Let see what the rest of the team has made, so click on the next button, trust me you will want to keep going as there are some very talented ladies here.

  4. Oooo, this was on my project to-do list last year and I didn’t get to it. You’ve very much inspired me to do it again!! These look fabulous, great choice of colours and DSP. And yes, I also have a little container full of all those bits I can’t bring myself to throw away because they might come in handy. And, like your gold circles here, they do!! 🙂 Siobhan.
