Hi! Thanks for joining me on my very first team blog hop where I have joined the Paper Adventures team. They get together once a month and create amazing projects, I have looked on from afar each time they do a blog hop and have been wanting to join in but was too scared so after much encouragement and hand holding to guide me in the right direction I have decided tonight is the night!
This month’s theme is Pointillism, do you have the same question as me? What is pointillism? Good question, I hear you ask basically it is dot painting, who knew it had a posh name….
I tried a few different techniques like using an cotton bud dabbed in ink and put onto the paper, I then tried just doing dots with a marker pen then I saw the stamp set Beautiful Friendship and it had a stamp that looked like dots, hallelujah! my work has been done for me even if by cheating a little.

I stamped poppies from Painted Poppies stamp set in black, I knew I had to get this inky again, then I stamped Beautiful Friendship with Real Red ink to stamp the ‘dots’ then using the Painted Labels dies I cut out the poppies, so easy as most of the work had been done for me.

Did I cheat? You be the judge!
See what the rest of the team has made. The next blog from here is Shannon Kissane and I am sure she will have an amazing creation – https://shannonkissane.com/2020/10/16/paper-adventures-team-hop-pointillism/ click on the next button below to visit her blog.
Have fun!

Robyn it was such a clever idea – definitely will remind me to think outside the box, look at what I have got and extend myself. Thank you!

No cheating in sight Robyn, just creativity and interpretation. Great take on the theme.

I think this is a great way to use this technique! I love your thinking outside the box here. Something I should train my brain to do haha!
